Principle Services supported a multi-site utility substation and transmission program by providing disciplined field oversight and owner-focused project management. Our team worked alongside the owner and contractors to ensure construction activities aligned with approved plans, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Through consistent on-site inspection, coordinated construction management, and transparent reporting, Principle helped maintain schedule alignment, reinforce quality installation, and proactively identify constructability concerns before they impacted progress.

Our involvement provided the owner with real-time visibility across multiple work fronts, strengthened accountability among stakeholders, and ensured long-term performance considerations were addressed throughout construction.

The baseline numbers

Our fleet has logged over a million miles this year alone, approximately 1,243,300 miles across 60 actively deployed units. All 60 are assigned, commuting vehicles, in regular daily use. That's real exposure, day after day, across the entire fleet.

We also have 100% AI camera and telematics coverage across every one of those units. Every mile driven is a mile we can actually see and learn from.

Why this level of tracking matters

Hitting 1.2 million miles of tracked data is not a milestone we take lightly. It means we can see where cell phone use behind the wheel is trending, and how other driving behaviors like hard braking, following distance, and speeding, are showing up across the fleet as a whole. That kind of visibility takes real commitment to the technology, the coaching, and the follow-through.

For our clients, that commitment is the point. A provider that takes data this seriously is a provider that takes safety seriously. These measures result in fewer incidents, lower risk exposure, and more confidence that the vehicles on the road are actually being managed.

One of the most consistent things we hear from drivers once footage and coaching are in place is not defensiveness. It's awareness. Seeing an actual clip of a near miss, or a moment of distraction, shows people one of the biggest hazards they face on the road in a way a policy memo never will. General awareness goes up and the safety conversations get easier, not harder.

And that's really what clients trust us with at the end of the day. Not just cameras pointed at a windshield, but the responsibility of turning what those cameras see into drivers who actually understand the risk in front of them.
